I’m an Assistant Professor at Brown University, where I study how technology use affects kids and how parents can help. I also write the popular weekly newsletter Techno Sapiens, and co-created Tech Without Stress, a course to help parents raising kids in the digital age.

I’ve published over 50 peer-reviewed publications related to youth and technology use, and my work has been funded by organizations like the NIMH, NICHD, and NSF. I’ve been featured in major news outlets, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post, and have appeared on CNBC, CNN, and NPR. I’ve also testified before U.S. congressional subcommittees at both the national and state level on issues surrounding tech and mental health.

I regularly speak at conferences, trainings, schools, and organizations.
