Iā€™m an Assistant Professor at Brown University, where I study how technology use affects kids and how parents can help. I also write the popular weekly newsletter Techno Sapiens, and co-created Tech Without Stress, a course to help parents raising kids in the digital age.

I got my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Harvard University, and my PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

My research has been funded by organizations like the National Institute for Mental Health (NIMH), the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), the National Science Foundation (NSF), the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).

I regularly speak at conferences, trainings, schools, and organizations.
